Instruction
Overnight fasting is mandatory.Collect whole blood in 3.2 % Sod. citrate (blue top vacutainer): Store sample along with cool pack and transport to AmPath within 2 hours of collection. For out-station samples : 1. Prepare platelet poor plasma (PPP) within 30 minutes of collection (see below). Centrifuge citrated blood at 3500rpm for 15 minutes. Separate plasma into a plain screw capped vial. Platelet count should be less than 10x103/µL. 2. Freeze at – 20°C with dry ice. 3. Ship immediately.(Shipped internationally)
